YOUNG carers will enjoy a musical day out with free tickets to a Lydiard Park festival later this month. The team behind MFor Festival have teamed up with St Mary s School Swindon to reward selfless youngsters who dedicate their free time to caring for loved ones. The young carers will get the chance to attend the festival with an adult on Saturday July 31 and see Craig David, Sigala, Ella Henderson and RAYE perform live This latest initiative comes after organisers dedicated their time in lockdown to helping the vulnerable by delivering shopping, medicines and other essential supplies. Jade Wakeling of St Mary’s School said: “We are really grateful to the festival organisers for donating tickets to our young carers.
THE team behind the MFor Festival are glad to have the final go-ahead for this year s event at the end of the month. As the government confirms that it is going full speed ahead with its plans to lift the last lockdown-related restrictions on July 19, organisers of the two-day Lydiard Park music event are looking forward to kicking off on Friday July 30. The line-up includes sets from Craig David, Sigala, Ella Henderson, By Your Side hitmaker RAYE, the original Artful Dodger, Mark Hill, GRACEY, and Phats and Small. Along with the two stages, the festival will feature plenty of family-friendly fun and games like a climbing wall, axe throwing, and zorbing.
