Updated / Tuesday, 12 Jan 2021 15:06 Peter Leahy is heading east to Meath Peter Leahy has stepped down after three years as manager of Mayo s ladies senior football team. The Westmeath native is joining the high-profile backroom team of new Meath Under-20 manager Bernard Flynn. Former Royal stars Graham Geraghty and Graham Reilly are also on board. Leahy told MidWest Radio that the decision was made with a tinge of sadness . An opportunity arose, he said. The last year with Mayo was exceptionally tough but I had a year left in my contract that I was going to honour. It transpired the opportunity came up to work with a legend like Bernard Flynn.
