So you re heading to New Hope, securing a reservation for a table with a view of the Delaware River and hoping to get in some shopping at the unique stores along Main Street. Maybe you re catching a show at the Bucks County Playhouse, too.
The reservation and tickets definitely help. But, the decades old question still plagues the hot borough destination that is working hard to woo both locals and tourists: Where are you going to park? We lose reservations, we lose tables because it takes people 45 minutes and then they decide to go home and lose the table, said Graham Lundeen, the front of house and bar manager at Martine’s RiverHouse Restaurant located on Ferry Street. And I know that’s true across the board.

With the turn in the weather, New Hope s dining scene is also going through changes Jose Garces has left Stella of New Hope, Logan s Inn and sister Mansion Inn are under construction (Logan s Inn will open in June and Mansion Inn in late summer) and Triumph Brewing Company will reopen in the next couple of weeks.
Warmer days mean finding the perfect spot to dine outdoors, especially after months of staying inside, hiding from the pandemic while ordering takeout.
The sun’s out, flowers are blooming and more people are getting vaccinated, so dining al fresco seems like the right move.
