Grafton is a cost-effective location to visit in Southern Utah

If you’re thinking of visiting Zion National Park this summer but want something unique to Utah and less crowded, there is a place not too far from the park.  Grafton Ghost Town is just outside the nearby town of Rockville and is easily missed due to its hard-to-find location and only one sign leading visitors to it. However, it s free and open 24 hours. Grafton was settled in 1859 and became a ghost town in 1945. It was the early Mormon Pioneers who settles in Grafton and at its height, it had 168 families there. The pioneers grew cotton at the height of the Civil War in Grafton.
