It may be noted that several schools in Delhi-NCR have switched to the online mode and banned all outdoor sports activities amid rising pollution in the national capital region.
Due to worsening air quality, all schools in Noida, including pre-school to class 9, have been directed to conduct online classes until November 10. Similar measures have been taken in Gurugram, where classes from nursery to class 4 have been suspended. The deteriorating air quality in Delhi and neighboring regions prompted these actions, with PM2.5 levels significantly exceeding recommended limits. Delhi s Environment Minister also extended school closures for certain classes, keeping board exams for Classes 10 and 12 on schedule.
NOIDA: In response to the deteriorating air quality, the district administration has issued an order on Tuesday, mandating the suspension of in-person.
