Randleman s girls basketball team may have a short bench with just nine total players and no seniors on its roster, but the Tigers proved they have plenty of firepower in a 72-47 win over visiting Midway in the first round of the NCHSAA 2A playoffs on Tuesday.
Leading the way for Randleman (11-3, 10-2 PAC 7) was a trio of underclassmen, spearheaded by sophomore center Gracyn Hall, who scored a team-high 22 points, with 19 coming in the first half. Sophomore point guard Elizabeth York added 16 points and freshman shooting guard Audra Petty chipped in 12 points.
