High school sweethearts Jim and Dorothy Tice to celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary. Married at Grace U.P. Church in East Liverpool in 1956, the former Dorothy Mae Stoakes, daughter of the late Ruth and John Stoakes, became the bride of James R. Tice, the son of the late Bea and Bob Tice on March 10th, 1956. George Parfitt was best man and Barbara Richardson Noonan served as maid of honor.
The Tice’s are lifelong residents of East Liverpool. Jim retired from Crucible Steel in 1983 and Columbiana County Health Center in 1999. He most recently worked at Alpha Care. Dorothy worked at City Hospital, also retiring in 1999.
