Hunters Against Hunger program helps food banks and others

GREAT FALLS â While the general hunting season is over, hunters are still able to take advantage of elk shoulder season in some parts of the state. That means more opportunities to provide food banks with much needed meat donations.
Hunters Against Hunger program for two years. The program is a partnership between the Montana Food Bank Network and Montana Fish, Wildlife, and Parks.
The business charges hunters to process game and then donates meat to agencies such as food banks and the Grace Home Veterans Center.
