Our CorrespondentMokokchung, Sep. 26 (EMN): Nagaland Building & Other Construction Workers’ Welfare Board (NBOCWWB) CEO, T Chubayanger, on Monday informed that the board annually releases INR 18-20 crore for various claims under five schemes. The CEO disclosed this on the sideline of NBOCWWB awareness campaign and field registration programme held at Grace Garden, Alempang Ward, Mokokchung. NBOCWWB provides social security to the building and other construction workers and their families by implementing different welfare schemes specially designed for the purpose, Chubayanger said. The five schemes are: Tool grant- on successful registration, INR 1000 as grant for purchase of tools will be automatically credited to the beneficiary’s account annually, subject to renewal of registration.
