The first show of the school year is less than a week away. Archbishop Jordan Catholic High School’s presentation of Radium Girls is set to hit the main stage at Festival Place from Nov. 27 to 29. Inspired by a true story, the historical drama tells the tale of a group of women who were hired by a company to paint luminescent watch dials for American soldiers. Performed by students enrolled in the school’s Drama 30 course, the story tracks the efforts of Grace Fryer, a dial painter, as she fights for her day in court following the deaths of several co-workers who had fallen ill with a mysterious disease.
