New information released on missing teen from Denton

The Davidson County Sheriff’s Office has released further information on the circumstances surrounding the disappearance of a 14-year-old girl from Denton last week.
According to officials, the teen was engaged in online communications with an unknown male before she was reported as missing on Thursday.
Savannah Grace Childress, 14, was last seen at 8:55 a.m. on Feb. 11 at 1164 Canaan Church Rd in Denton after she logged off of her virtual classroom through South Davidson Middle School.
Childress is described as being 5 feet, 6 inches tall and weighing 135 pounds. She has straight brown hair and green eyes and was wearing a yellow Mickey Mouse hoodie and neon green Asic athletic style shoes.

WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) - An Amber Alert has been issued by the Davidson County Sheriffâs Office for a missing 14-year-old teenage girl.
Savannah Grace Childress is approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs 135 pounds. She has brown hair and green eyes and was last seen wearing a yellow Mickey Mouse hoodie.
Silver alert issued for missing Denton teen

The N.C. Center for Missing Persons issued a silver alert for a teenager who went missing from Denton.
Savannah Grace Childress, 14, was last seen at 1164 Canaan Church Rd in Denton. She is believed to have dementia or another cognitive impairment, the alert said.
Childress is described as being 5 feet, 6 inches tall and weighing 135 pounds. She has brown hair and green eyes and was wearing a yellow Mickey Mouse hoodie when last seen.
