Throughout 2023, the Willmar City Council debated the location of the proposed city hall and community center, housing remains a top priority and businesses continue to invest in the city's industrial park.
The public hearing opened at the Monday, Nov. 20, meeting was continued until Tuesday due to the need to have a supermajority of the Willmar City Council to approve street improvement projects, and the absence of Councilors Tom Butterfield and Michael O'Brien last week.
Residents who live within the street improvement areas should attend the open house to ask questions regarding the improvement taking place in their area, as well as get an idea of how much they will be assessed for the projects.
