A DUBLIN GP has urged caution with the use of antigen tests for Covid-19 after a business spokesman called for a public awareness campaign to instruct people on how to carry out the tests properly.
Last week, Lidl announced it was selling five rapid Covid-19 tests for €25, with stocks almost selling out in a matter of days.

However the Government is already using these tests in meat factories and hospitals and they may have a role to play in colleges returning following a report from a group of experts which found the tests will be a helpful tool in reopening the country.
