The Ogun State Government has described the death of billionaire businessman, Bolu Akin-Olugbade, as a major loss.
Akin-Olugbade was said to have died from COVID-19 complications on Wednesday.
The Special Adviser to the Governor on Public Communications, Remmy Hazzan, described the late Akin-Olugbade as “an achiever per excellence. One of the foremost citizens of Owu Kingdom, which is the same kingdom a former President came from.”
He said, “Ogun State will definitely miss him, his achievements both in professional and social circle.”
Also, former President Olusegun Obasanjo, on Thursday, described the late Akin-Olugbade as passionate in his defence of Nigerian unity.
