Chennai: Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) chief M K Stalin was sworn in as Tamil Nadu Chief Minister on Friday at Raj Bhavan here.
He was administered the oath by Governor Banwarilal Purohit. Along with Stalin, 33 other ministers from his party also took the oath. The names include 19 former ministers and 15 new faces. There are two women among the newly sworn-in ministers.

Chennai (Tamil Nadu) [India], May 7 (ANI): Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) chief M K Stalin was sworn in as Tamil NaduChief Minister on Friday at Raj Bhavan here.
He was administered the oath by Governor Banwarilal Purohit
Along with Stalin 33 other ministers from his party also took the oath.

Apart from being the chief minister, Stalin will also hold a number of other portfolios, including the home ministry. After assuming office, Stalin announced a pandemic time relief of Rs 2,000 for residents in the state, reported PTI. He also announced a government insurance scheme and reduced the rates of Aavin milk products. The chief minister also announced free travel for women in state-run buses from Saturday.
