My job is to oversee the operations of all of the usda programs to make sure that they are being delivered as effectively as possible. Dayt that means, on a dayto basis, is that we, in the ig office, need to conduct audits to make sure the programs are running affectively. That improper payments are not going out the door. And, we conduct investigations when there are allegations of wrongdoing in a program, either by a Department Employee or someone receiving benefits.
