Council facilities remain open, masks are mandatory
In accordance with the NSW Government Public Health Order, face masks are now compulsory at Lismore City Council offices and facilities.
Restrictions apply to all facilities including the Corporate Centre in Goonellabah, the Recycling & Recovery Facility, GSAC, the Regional Gallery and the Lismore and Goonellabah libraries.
Capacity limits are in place at these locations and people will need to check-in via the Service NSW QR code system. Council staff working in an indoor setting are also wearing masks in keeping with the order.
Over the weekend, the NSW Government extended stay-at-home orders across all of Greater Sydney including the Blue Mountains, Central Coast, Shellharbour and Wollongong, and introduced restrictions for all other parts of NSW – including Lismore.
