Reporter a family of four including a 15yearold boy and the pilot on board. The chopper falling from the sky, then crashing into the water. Sinking near the popular pearl harbor visitors center. Witnesses frantically jumping in to help. We all jumped the wall and ran over to help. I pulled everything out of my pockets. Reporter almost immediately three people swam to the surface trapped underwater for several minutes before he was finally pulled out of the wreckage. We got him. Oh, god.

This was the scene thursday morning outside the home of fredrick leavitt, the Financial Management director of the bureau of reclamation. Metro says on february 13th metro police got a call about a child shot, when they got there they found a 12 year old hurt by a gun shot. He later died at the hospital, and it was determined that he shot himsel. F. The shooting was a result of a self inflicted gunshot injury from the 12 year old to himself, but through the investigation it was later learned that the father had acquired that fire arm and had that fire arm in the residence that the child used to shoot himself. Strong winds whipped across the valley, causing some major delays at mccarran airport. It was definitely a White Knuckle ride for people flying in and out of town.
