“Out Of Syllabus” Question Paper Irks Students

SRINAGAR: The 6th semester 2017 batch of undergraduate students appearing in their ongoing examination conducted by University Of Kashmir (KU) have accused the concerned of framing ‘out of syllabus’ question paper.
A group of students on Friday complained that most of the questions in Statistics paper asked the examination were out of syllabus, leaving them high and dry.
The students said, “if we were not given relaxation we might fail.”
The students demanded that their exams for this paper should either be rescheduled or should be given genuine marks for the ‘out of syllabus’ questions.

SRINAGAR: Dr Ajaz Ahmad Lone, hailing from north Kashmir’s Baramulla has become the first person from Jammu and Kashmir to bag the prestigious post-doctoral research fellowship in the Department of Social Foundations and Educational Leadership, Kulliyyah of Education at the International Islamic University Malaysia.

Currently posted as a contractual lecturer in Sociology Department at Boys Degree College Sopore, Dr Ajaz said he was “overwhelmed” and “surprised” when he received the confirmation letter of his fellowship from the Islamic University of Malaysia.
Terming it his most festive moment, Dr Ajaz said, “I am ecstatic that I received this fellowship.”
