GBDi rolls out bed allocation system

Government Big Data institute (GBDi) has rolled out an operating system for bed allocation for Covid-19 patients, making sure they will be sent to arranged facilities within 24 hours.
The system, called CO-link, will be undertaken in Bangkok and surrounding provinces as pilot locations before being adopted across the country in the future.
Nuttapon Nimmanphatcharin, president of the Digital Economy Promotion Agency (Depa), which oversees GBDi, said GBDi has been carrying out various projects to analyse and govern data in connection with the pandemic.

Andhra Pradesh State Election Commissioner Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar, ahead of the panchayat elections who has secretly created a private app in the name of election monitoring. The app, which has been kept secret till now, will be unveiled at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, state Election Commission office sources said. The app has allegedly been created without taking necessary security clearances from the government.
Nimmagadda, who is currently touring Srikakulam district, also told the media the same thing. The details of the app have been kept secret and there is no information about who made the app,where the control center is, who oversees the operations, the staff involved and how the complaints will be resolved. Doha: The Government Infrastructure Operation Department of the Information Technology Affairs at the Ministry of Transport and Communications (MoTC) has recently obtained the ISO/IEC 270001:2013 Information Security Management System certificate.
Information security is the protection of information to ensure confidentiality, integrity and availability.
