Principal of the school, Sindhu Daware, said, “All children are stable at the hospital and are accompanied by their parents. This same organisation has been serving food at our school since we reopened after the pandemic. A total of 189 children at the school ate food but there were no complaints by others.”
Out of 222 injured Govindas, 197 were treated and discharged from various hospitals in the city and 25 people were still under treatment, their condition is said to be stable, the BMC said

The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation has increased its health budget by 11 per cent for the year 2021-22 compared to three per cent for 2020-21. The civic body has estimated Rs 4,728.53 crores for this year compared to Rs 4,260 crore which was proposed in the year 2020-21. Officials said they are mainly focusing on improving the health infrastructure, building new hospitals, moreover the capital expenditure has also increased with 50 per cent compared to last year.
The civic body has also planned to vaccinate 1 crore citizens of Mumbai once the vaccine is freely available in the market. Currently the distribution of vaccines is being regularised by the central government and it s free for the first and second phase.
