Abiodun, Sanwo-Olu sign pact on establishment of Lagos-Ogun Joint Development Commission

Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State and his Lagos State counterpart, Babajide Sanwo-Olu have signed a pact on the establishment of the Lagos-Ogun Joint Development Commission.
In his words, Gov Abiodun maintained that the official launch of the Joint Development Commission will initiate and accelerate more projects necessary to aid the movement of people, goods and services, as well as increase industrialization along border communities, to ensure wholesome development of the two states.
Abiodun stressed that the Joint Development Commission would forge a common alliance between the two states, to tackle insecurity, sanitation, traffic and transportation, waste management, water supply, land use planning, infrastructure development and maintenance, urban renewal and slum upgrading.
