Gourdans Steak Frites in Oxford gets five star hygiene score

Gourdans Steak Frites opened a restaurant at 49 St Clement’s Street in October last year. Established in 2015, the business, run by Matt Jeffery and his wife Tina, first started out in a van serving gourmet steak and chips and competing with the city centre kebab vans. Now, in addition to the mobile kitchen, the couple have made their dream of owning a restaurant come true and made a place for foodies to dine in. Currently Gourdans Steak Frites has closed its doors to diners and is operating as a takeaway due to the pandemic – but it is still proving to be successful.
