Lancashire police pelted with eggs by gang of 20 teenagers | Lancaster And Morecambe Citizen

Police pelted with eggs by gang of 20 teenagers Police officers were pelted with eggs by a group of 20 kids as they tried to deal with a breach of Covid regulations.  On Thursday night, officers were sent to Gorton Street in Blackpool after receiving reports that up to 20 youths were gathering in the area, despite lockdown restrictions prohibiting such social interactions.  Police say the teenagers were acting in an anti-social manner and started throwing eggs at them when they tried to disperse the crowd. Officers are now advising parents to keep an eye on their children, as current regulations state they should not be out of their homes unless they are taking exercise with one other person, or are making an essential journey.
