In that week, I ve gotten my fair share of hilariously buggy moments, inexplicable crashes and even been surprised by how short the mainline story is. I ve learned enough about the game to write a fairly helpful set of Cyberpunk 2077 tips and tricks.
Oh, and to get this out of the way early: I played Cyberpunk 2077 on an Xbox One X, which I selected because it s the only 4K console I have (it s still so hard to get a PS5 or Xbox Series X), and because I don t own a gaming PC. I hear the game runs better on tricked out PCs and the new consoles, but I m of the opinion that you should only release games on consoles they ll run well on.

Gamers won t stop thirsting for Keanu Reeves.
A ton of mods have recently surfaced for PC players of Cyberpunk 2077, adding highly-requested changes to the game such as a zoomed-out minimap and fine tuned driving controls. Certain mods are not so innocent in nature however, such as one that lets players have sex with Keanu Reeves’ character Johnny Silverhand.
Developer CD Projekt Red quickly stepped in to shut down the fanmade mod, telling PC Gamer that, “Our most important rule regarding user-generated content, game mods in particular, is that it can’t be harmful towards others.
Hotfix 1.11 restores item randomization to its previous state and also fixes an issue in the
Down on the Street quest. Within the quest, players would enter a holocall with Goro Takemura, however, the call would be missing dialogue options and block interactions with different NPCs. This stopped players being able to progress through the game.
CD Projekt Red’s hand has been forced into these apologies and updates due to the state the game initially launched in. A number of game-breaking bugs, horrendous visual glitches and major performance issues on last-gen consoles.
Cyberpunk 2077 1.11 hotfix tackles the Takemura holocall hiccup
Last week, a Cyberpunk 2077 update introduced a game-breaking bug for some of the RPG game’s players, with reports of a significant hiccup affecting progress following a holocall with character Goro Takemura. Now, however, players across all platforms should hopefully find the issue’s been fixed, with the launch of a new hotfix today.
“Hotfix 1.11 is available on PC, consoles, and Stadia!” developer CD Projekt Red announces on Twitter. “This update restores item randomisation and fixes a bug which affected some users’ holocall with Takemura in Down on the Street quest.” As you can see in the notes, the hotfix is just that – a band-aid targeted at just a few of the open-world game’s aspects, but it means that players who encountered the game-breaking glitch can look forward to moving past their endless chat with Takemura.
