CANANDAIGUA Just months after a developer pulled a plan for a proposed housing subdivision, another developer is seeking to build rental townhomes in the northeast section of the city on one of its last vacant parcels.
The Parkwood subdivision would consist of two- and three-unit townhouses for a total of 73 units on 23 acres of land between Spencer Lane and Chapel Street that would primarily attract empty-nesters. Developer Midland Management is seeking a change in zoning, from the current residential to planned unit development, but members of City Council’s planning committee made no decisions Tuesday night.
