Following, at Cairns Convention and Exhibition Centre, Her Excellency toured the Parliamentary Precinct and met with visiting school children.
Also in the morning, at Government House, students from Queensland Children’s Hospital School visited for a guided tour of the House and Gardens.
In the afternoon, at Cairns Convention and Exhibition Centre, Her Excellency presided at a meeting of the Executive Council.
Also in the afternoon, at Hambledon House Edmonton, Her Excellency visited the neighbourhood centre open day and read a book to children.
Following, at Cairns Convention and Exhibition Centre, Her Excellency attended the Queensland Parliament Reception, and the Governor addressed guests.
