Solon Springs: The Solon Springs Lions Club will host its annual smelt fry from 4:30-7 p.m. at the Solon Springs Community Center. The all-you-can-eat meal is available for dine in, with distance seating, or pickup. For orders, call 715-919-1152.

Gordon: Hike the North Country Trail from the St. Croix National Scenic Riverway from Gordon Dam County Park to the Scott Rapids Campsite, and return; 6 miles total. Meet at 9 a.m. at Gordon Dam County Park on County Y. Free. Registration required; visit meetup.com/sscbhikers.
