In a criminal complaint filed by Nassau County police, a detective attests that Goran Preda, 42, of Williston Park told an employee at Meadow Drive School in Albertson: How can you help me? How can you help me? I m going to come there. I m going to come there with a shotgun. The employee immediately became afraid for their safety, as well as the safety of the staff, and the safety of the children, the complaint reads.

Detectives say Goran Preda, 42, was on the phone with school officials at Meadow Drive Elementary School in Albertson Thursday. That s when they say he threatened a violent act. School officials immediately locked the school down and called 911. No one was hurt. Preda was arrested and charged with making a terroristic threat.
