Danger that continues to just be here with us. Half moon bay other coastal areas on the peninsula and upper elevations of the Santa Cruz Mountains all of the inland east bay, all of us a in lake countys most of napa and then upper elevations of sonoma and marin counties all these areas affected by red flag warnings now extended through tomorrow night as winds gust as high as 40 Miles Per Hour in some of these areas and its not just the winds, but also the very low humidity to our current temperatures right now actually looking pretty comfortable id say get outside enjoy this morning before another warm afternoon around the corner right now were in the 50s 60s with one exception near santa rosa. At 49 degrees currently so your forecast today again going to be warm and again going to be windy course we need to know what traffic is looking like though still a little bit early i think for most of busy spots but where we sit right now robin the earlier folks can get out there the better job
At suture tower down at San Francisco does show some nice fog this fog actually sparing us this morning from xover highest a fire danger little window of opportunity for some marine layer to scoot inland before winds pick back up tonight, forcing that fog out of the picture right now red flag warnings in effect for portions of the coast in San Mateo County up into the Santa Cruz Mountains all of the inland east bay all of solano and lake counties most of napa and upper elevations of sonoma and marin counties this is where weve been the past few days consistently, gusts of wind as high as 40 Miles Per Hour yet again and we see no signs of breaking that pattern in the days to come 50s for most of our current temps at this point. Oakland at 59 hayward 58 while conquer dublin and livermore little bit cooler in the 50s and from the low to mid 50s while pittsburgh and fairfield 2 of your warmer spots this morning in the low 60s. As we make our way through the day today daytime highs do event
As for the east bay inland east bay back to red flag warnings until the evening tomorrow in coastal san mateo up into the Santa Cruz Mountains also affected by winds gusting as high as 40 Miles Per Hour. Even with temperatures beginning to cool lets talk about some of the good stuff in your forecast first of all air quality has been great lately and that does continue this morning so expect abundant sunshine once that morning fog does burn off and temperatures not all that bad either under sunshine in livermore near at 70 now hayward pittsburgh fairfield also in the 60s while hanging out in the 50s and San Francisco berkeley and timber on couple of our more foggy spots this morning. I am talking what to expect for the rest of the week and that does include a very windy weekend on tap ahead of us first of all though lets get a check of traffic with robin. Thank you john traffic improving nicely looking pretty good out there on the roads a lot of that heavy stuff is out of your way were
Talk about just that its really pretty out there actually get it from coming up, so its a brighter commute but the lines getting longer john so its pretty busy, especially on our bridges were checking out the trip here on the bay bridge 80 wesson to San Francisco you see all the headlights right. The backup is pretty long it goes back to the bottom of the maze and thats normal for this time of mourning, but at least you dont have any problems or crashes in the mix to add to the slow traffic so were up to 14 minutes and thats still a really good drive into San Francisco with no big problems right now were checking on highway 4 because i just got word of a crash in pittsburgh on the westbound direction thats the commute side. So thats bumping up their drive time to 25 minutes thats no longer highway 4. But this is a beautiful shot of the city right now to overview of San Francisco for coming up well check in on some more bridges star ian james and well see how the traffic is moving aroun
Bay at red flag warning in effect as well so weve got Team Coverage once again we have will tran hes standing by in napa county covering the power shut offs Sarah Stinson is in San Mateo County with the latest on those red flag warnings. First lets start in the Weather Center with john trouble. Yeah guys, those red flag warnings definitely concerning still across the bay area weve been seeing them for much of the week so far and we are keeping them going for yet another day extended last night in fact now what were going to be seeing today are dry conditions across the bay which definitely contributes on top of the windy and warm weather that we also have you look outside right now at San Francisco shows you clear skies makes for a beautiful view, but definitely not a lot of marine layer to be talking about out there thats why we have red flag warnings that the coast in areas like Half Moon Bay pacifica up in upper elevations in the Santa Cruz Mountains inland east bay, all of us a in
