Google has ended support for unlimited photo backups at “Original” quality for Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL owners. Any images uploaded at original resolution will count towards a user’s account storage, according to the company. However, Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL owners can continue to upload images at “Storage saver” resolution, without using up their Google Account storage, according to the company.
Google has responded to a user report regarding their Pixel 3 preventing them from being able to call US emergency helpline number 911 and said that the issue is due to the Microsoft Teams app.
Google is reportedly planning the last and final update for the Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL. The flagship smartphones from 2018 recently received an Android 12 update. As per the report, the final update for the smartphones will be released in Q1 2022.
