YouTube will not reopen its lavish creator studios in London and cities around the world after shutting their doors when the pandemic struck.
YouTube Spaces, the 20,000 ft state-of-the-art building in King’s Cross, first welcomed seasoned and fledgling YouTube stars in 2016, offering training, filming and post production equipment along with a shop to sell merchandise.
Although the space was free, creators needed to prove they had 10,000 subscribers, no strikes for breaking the rules and no copyright violations in order to be allowed in to record.
