It looks like the worst decline going back to may 17 for the major averages. The nasdaq in particular is getting hit hard as we see Technology Sales shares selloff. It does look like this north korean rhetoric was the catalyst for this, but there has been more and more negative, at least cautious comments with disappointment on the earnings front. That, sort of, snowballing to create the selloff we are now seen for a Third Straight session. It is a broadbased selloff. All of the groups in the s p 500, save one, utilities, is lower today. Consumer, discretionary, financials each as individual groups are down by more than 1 . In terms of the individual movers we are watching today, it is a mix of earnings and this general unease. We have macys and calls getting hit hard after their earnings reports. Both reporting smaller declines than estimated, however the outlook for the second half is giving investors pause.
