Well, according to a witnesses i talked to this afternoon, this attack occurred just behind me here in front of the recreation center. The two victims in this case are going to be ok, but police says its very unusual that a group of young people would attack two adults. According to the San Francisco police department, just after 7pm thursday evening a group of twenty juveniles were having a water fight. Here. Outside the palega recreation center. At some point the group may have gotten to close to another group that included Young Children. When the father of one of the Young Children tried to scold the juveniles, 8 of the kids attacked him and another man. Sotpoliced say one victim is 23yearsold and the other is 37. Report of a gunshot fired. A man in his late 20s who has yet to be identified was found dead in a Newark Shopping Center saturday morning. Employees say a customer walked by and saw the victim slumped over the steering wheel. Jimmy lee, Shopping Plaza employeehis engine was running and the windshield wipers were on. The victim was shot at least once in the head while sitting in the drivers seat of this dark grey bmw. The first homicide of the year was called into police at half past noon. But plaza employees say they think it happened hours before. Were still looking at videos and witnesses but we do have some leads. Newark police arent releasing any surveillence video at this time. But we were able to watch footage from a nearby business. In it a white or silver suv pull up to the car where the victim was found about three men got out and into the victims car then fled just before a call came through that the man was killed.
