We haven’t heard much lately but it’s out there and unfortunately with the weather getting nicer, there may be more of it and we are talking about graffiti in the community. Overall, Strathroy-Caradoc Police Constable Michelle McIntyre says police looked into 25 mischief incidents at various locations in the municipality and most of the incidents she says happened at night. Strathroy-Caradoc Director of Community Services, Rob Lilbourne says a municipal by-law prohibits access to parks from 11pm-5am and an attempt for on-site cameras was not successful. Currently the municipality is looking into contractor Goodbye Graffiti, specializing in graffiti removal/prevention. Also the Community Development Advisory Committee is also discussing a potential Graffiti wall.
