Molly Luther joins Explore Minnesota Tourism Council

A Park Rapids business owner has been appointed to the Explore Minnesota Tourism Council.
Molly Luther of Park Rapids was one of several appointments announced in an April 30 press release from the office of Gov. Tim Walz and Lt. Gov. Peggy Flanagan. She replaces previous member Maya Hua on the council.

The Park Rapids City Council had a special workshop Tuesday to discuss whether to continue offering license agreements to downtown bars and restaurants to have curbside alfresco seating.
The city offered a similar deal in 2020 to help businesses struggling with restrictions on indoor dining and seating density, arising from the COVID-19 pandemic.
