Meredith Corporation to launch Good Impressions Tuesday, March 2, 2021 2:24 PM Meredith Corporation announced the launch of Good Impressions, a pro bono media and marketing consultation program created to help BIPOC and LGBTQIA-majority owned small businesses succeed by driving awareness, supporting sales efforts and providing mentorship. Individual awards valued at around $100,000 will go toward a group of five to 10 businesses, and offer access to Meredith’s marketing and advertising. Good Impressions will exclusively work with food and beauty companies and is scheduled to begin in the second quarter this year, Meredith announced. According to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, BIPOC and LGBTQIA-owned businesses have been disproportionately hurt by the pandemic; 66% of minority-owned businesses were concerned about permanently closing due to the pandemic in 2020.
