Pupils at Golspie Primary School will be helped to overcome any fears they may have after watching news reports of Wednesday s shooting of 16 children and their teacher in a P1 class at Dunblane. Golspie head teacher Paul Hagan said: Any children who want to discuss it in the classroom over the next few days will be able to do so. We have been in touch with our local ministers and will call on their support if necessary.

A SUTHERLAND primary school has been able to purchase digital devices for lockdown learning thanks to a donation from a locally based charity.
Golspie Primary School has been given sufficient funding by the Silver Rock Foundation (SRF) to enable it to buy 10 digital devices.
Golspie Primary School pupils with the new devices: Olli Mowat, Charlie Smith, Layla McDonald, Emily Christian, Rosie Richardson and Lewis Fraser.
Head teacher Simon Scott said pupils were delighted at the gift.
