It’s been a year since Meliame Fisi’ihoi was murdered in her Favona home. Yet no arrests have been made and the perception among many in the Tongan community is that the investigation has stalled. Goll Manukia, a pastor at Mangere’s Lotofale la Church, said people had put “trust in the law” to get results, but after a year of not getting closer to the truth, people were getting frustrated.
