With the recent closures of the Coconino, Kaibab, Apache-Sitgreaves National Forests as well as Prescott and Tonto National Forest as of Friday, June 25, many travel and recreation plans have been shelved.  The closures of these Arizona destinations have been put in place due to ongoing wildfires, dry conditions and lack of manpower to combat the spreading fires and impact many popular camping and recreation areas.
