We love our local businesses helping the community and we have to give props to Golden West Cafe who started a fundraiser to donate over 20,000 masks to Baltimore teachers for when Baltimore City Schools returns to classrooms.
Samantha Classeen, the owner of Golden West Cafe, organized the fundraiser with other restaurants in the area and they all donated 20% of their sales, which eventually led to the entire fundraiser raising enough to buy 20,000 KN95 masks and more than 11,000 blue surgical masks for Baltimore City Schools.
