Regina bowling alleys feel like they are on the outside looking in, as City of Regina recreation centres reopened Monday while they remain closed due to COVID-19 public health measures.
It’s not just recreation centres that are returning to a sense of normalcy, as Queen City restaurants will be allowed to resume in-person dining starting Monday.
Kevin Clark, the manager of the Golden Mile Bowling Lanes, says it’s easy to feel frustrated as public health measures are eased in Regina and while bowling continues anywhere in the province except here.
“Regina is the only place where we can’t be open,” Clark said. “You go to Moose Jaw, Yorkton, Melville, everywhere else is open but Regina. I know it had to do with all the cases before, but we’ve now dropped significantly.
