Gold prices rose by Rs 95 to Rs 48,015 per 10 gram in the national capital on Monday amid a positive global trend and rupee depreciation, according to HDFC Securities. In the previous trade, the precious metal had closed at Rs 47,920 per 10 gram. Silver prices also jumped Rs 154 to Rs 70,998 per kg, from Rs 70,844 per kg in the previous trade. The rupee depreciated by 4 paise to 72.87 against the US dollar in the early trade on Monday.
In the international market, gold was trading in the green at USD 1,882 per ounce and silver was flat at USD 27.67 per ounce.

Gold prices rose by Rs 97 to Rs 46,758 per 10 gram in the national capital on Tuesday, according to HDFC Securities. In the previous trade, the precious metal had closed at Rs 46,661 per 10 gram. Silver also jumped Rs 1,282 to Rs 70,270 per kilogram from Rs 68,988 per kilogram in the previous trade.
In the international market, gold was trading marginally lower at USD 1,788 per ounce and silver was flat at USD 26.90 per ounce. Gold prices traded marginally down with spot prices at COMEX (New York-based commodities exchange) trading at USD 1,788 per ounce on Tuesday, according to HDFC Securities, Senior Analyst (Commodities), Tapan Patel.Â

Gold rises Rs 310, silver jumps Rs 580
Gold jumps Rs 310 to Rs 46,580 per 10 gram in the national capital on Monday reflecting recovery in global precious metal prices and rupee depreciation, according to HDFC Securities. In the previous trade, the precious metal had closed at Rs 46,270 per 10 gram. Silver also jumped Rs 580 to Rs 67,429 per kg from Rs 66,849 per kg in the previous trade.
The Indian rupee slumped 24 paise to 74.33 against the dollar in the opening trade on Monday.
In the international market, gold was trading with gains at USD 1,777 per ounce and silver gained marginally to USD 26.06 per ounce.
