Paul Wilcock, 51, from Chippenham, will be running 26.2 miles around the Capital this October to raise funds for SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity. The Virgin Money London Marathon will take place on Sunday 3rd October 2021, beginning near Blackheath in Greenwich and finishing at Buckingham Palace. Paul, a former member of the Royal Corps of Signals, decided to raise money for SSAFA after the charity supported his mother. He said: “My Father was REME. SSAFA supported my mother in the past. She used to talk fondly of the work SSAFA did to support her and her family.”
