Austin FC, will be one of eleven
2021 Concacaf Gold Cup venues when the 2021 tournament takes place in July and August 2021. The 2021 Concacaf Gold Cup will feature 16 national teams, 12 of which have qualified via the 2019–20
Concacaf Nations League, including the six-time champion
U.S. Men’s National Team (USMNT) and eight-time champion
Mexican Men’s National Team. They will be joined by the 2019
AFC Asian Cup champions and 2022 FIFA World Cup host,
Qatar, and three additional teams qualifying via the 2021 Concacaf Gold Cup Prelims, a qualification round taking place July 2-6, 2021.

Las Vegas Awarded Concacaf Gold Cup Final
Concacaf has announced that the final of the 2021 Concacaf Gold Cup has been awarded to Las Vegas, with the championship match to be held on August 1.
The organisation said, “Concacaf has announced that the Final of the 2021 Concacaf Gold Cup – the 16th edition of the region’s flagship men’s international competition, has been awarded to Las Vegas and Allegiant Stadium, the destination’s newest state-of-the-art sports venue.
“The championship match on August 1 will crown the best men’s national team in the Concacaf region. This will be the first time a Gold Cup match is played in Las Vegas in the event’s 30-year history, making the 2021 tournament a landmark edition. The final will cap off a great summer of football that will also include the inaugural Concacaf Nations League Finals in June, and the Gold Cup Prelims in early July.
Football: Concacaf Gold Cup Preliminaries In July
The 2021 Concacaf Gold Cup Preliminary Rounds will take place in July in Florida, with Bermuda set to take on Barbados.
A BFA spokesperson said, “Concacaf has confirmed that the 2021 Gold Cup Preliminary Rounds will take place from July 2-6, 2021, at the Inter Miami CF Stadium, in Florida.
“The twelve nations participating in the Preliminary Rounds have qualified through Concacaf Nations League matches, and compete for the final three available spots for the 2021 Gold Cup Group Stage.
“The draw which took place in October 2020, includes six match ups for the First Round, in which the winner of each match will progress to Round Two. The six match-ups are as follows:
