Gold rises Rs 310, silver jumps Rs 580
Gold jumps Rs 310 to Rs 46,580 per 10 gram in the national capital on Monday reflecting recovery in global precious metal prices and rupee depreciation, according to HDFC Securities. In the previous trade, the precious metal had closed at Rs 46,270 per 10 gram. Silver also jumped Rs 580 to Rs 67,429 per kg from Rs 66,849 per kg in the previous trade.
The Indian rupee slumped 24 paise to 74.33 against the dollar in the opening trade on Monday.
In the international market, gold was trading with gains at USD 1,777 per ounce and silver gained marginally to USD 26.06 per ounce.

Gold declines Rs 505, silver falls Rs 828
Gold prices plunged by Rs 505 to Rs 46,518 per 10 gram in the national capital on Wednesday following a fall in the global metal prices, according to HDFC Securities. In the previous trade, the precious metal had closed at Rs 47,023 per 10 gram. In-tandem with weak gold prices, silver also declined by Rs 828 to Rs 67,312 per kg from Rs 68,140 per kg in the previous trade.
In the international market, gold was quoting lower at USD 1,769 per ounce and silver was flat at USD 26.02 per ounce. Gold prices traded lower with spot gold prices at COMEX trading at $1,769 per ounce on Wednesday. Gold prices traded under pressure on dollar recovery ahead of US FOMC (Federal Open Market Committee) meeting, according to HDFC Securities, Senior Analyst (Commodities), Tapan Patel.

Gold rises marginally; silver gains Rs 255
Gold prices rose marginally by Rs 69 to Rs 46,906 per 10 gram in the national capital on Tuesday, according to HDFC Securities. In the previous trade, the precious metal had closed at Rs 46,837 per 10 gram. Silver prices also gained marginally, rising by Rs 255 to Rs 67,890 per kilogram from Rs 67,635 per kilogram in the previous trade.
In the international market, gold was quoting marginally lower at USD 1,778 per ounce and silver was flat at USD 26.15 per ounce. Gold prices traded marginally down with spot gold prices at COMEX (New York-based commodities exchange) trading at USD 1,778 per ounce on Tuesday. Gold prices fluctuated in narrow range trading marginally down on firm dollar index, according to HDFC Securities, Senior Analyst (Commodities), Tapan Patel.

Gold prices rose by Rs 411 to Rs 47,291 per 10 gram in the national capital on Monday reflecting strong buying in the global precious metal and rupee depreciation, according to HDFC Securities. In the previous trade, the yellow metal had closed at Rs 46,880 per 10 gram. Silver prices also gained Rs 338 to Rs 68,335 per kilogram from Rs 67,997 per kilogram in the previous trade.
The Indian rupee slumped 52 paise to 74.87 against the US dollar in opening trade on Monday.
In the international market, gold was trading with gains at USD 1,787 per ounce and silver was quoting marginally higher at USD 26.08 per ounce.

Gold prices fell by Rs 130 to Rs 46,093 per 10 gram in the national capital on Tuesday following a decline in international precious metal prices, according to HDFC Securities. In the previous trade, the yellow metal had closed at Rs 46,223 per 10 gram. Silver prices also declined Rs 305 to Rs 66,040 per kilogram from Rs 66,345 per kilogram in the previous trade.
In the international market, gold was trading lower at USD 1,726 per ounce and silver was flat at USD 24.89 per ounce.
