Local Man Arrested for Drugs, Woman Busted for Weapons
An Oelwein man has been arrested on a Buchanan County warrant for drug charges.
Just before 3:30pm Sunday (Dec. 13), Oelwein Police took 34 year old Andrew Heth into custody for a Buchanan County warrant. The original charge was Possession of a Controlled Substance-3rd Offense. Heth was also charged with Interference with Official Acts. Officers made the arrest after an incident in the 300 block of 6th Avenue SE.
An Oelwein woman has been arrested on a weapons charge. After investigating an incident Sunday evening in the 100 block of 8th Avenue NW, 31 year old Sarah Brown was taken into custody for Going Armed With Intent.
