While Staffordshire Police is currently questioning a 30-year-old man from South Staffordshire, they have said they are aware of previous police interactions with the owner of the killer dogs.
Staffordshire Police said today that the owner, from the Lichfield area, had been interviewed multiple times and was released on conditional bail pending further enquiries. Their investigation continues.
