Seattle teen charged in fatal New Year’s hit-and-run KATE FELDMAN
An 18-year-old Seattle high school student has been charged with vehicular homicide after allegedly crashing into a pedestrian just after 1 a.m. on Jan. 1, then driving off.
Kyle Dickinson, a senior at Bishop Blanchet, a private high school, was allegedly driving his parents’ car on Montlake Bridge near the University of Washington campus when he crashed into 23-year-old Jared West on his way back from a party, according to the Seattle Times.
Dickinson never stopped the car, driving to the Alaska Airlines Arena, then leaving the vehicle and fleeing on foot.
