Essex Police was called to reports of a large gathering in Sewardstone Road, Waltham Abbey, last night. Photo: Google Maps A large group gathered in Waltham Abbey last night and refused to leave the area when instructed by officers. Essex Police put a dispersal order in place, giving officers the power to order people causing anti-social behaviour to leave the area. Breaching any direction given under the order is a criminal offence. The order was put in place from 11.15pm on Thursday, April 15 and lasted until 6am this morning (Friday, April 16).
